For the month of march we are hoping to raise $33,000 to provide Iftar meals for the Muslim holiday of Ramadan.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the islamic calendar. It is observed By muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. It is also the month in which the Quran is believed to have been revealed to the islamic prophet Muhammed. The annual observance of Ramadan is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam and last twenty-nine to thirty days, from one sighting of the crescent moon to the next.

Iftar is the fast-breaking evening meal of Muslims in Ramadan at the time of adhan of the Magrib prayer. This is their second meal of the day; the daily fast during Ramadan begins immediately after the pre-dawn meal of suhur and continues during the daylight hours, ending with sunset with the evening meal of Iftar. Iftar here in Gaza will include a breakfast of rice with chicken says Mohammed.
Mohammed has requested that we raise as much a we can to feed as many families as possible for the month of Ramadan.

Our primary objective for Ramadan 2026 is to raise 33,000 USD to provide dignified Iftar meals and essential supplies, including 50,000 liters of clean drinking water (5,000 USD), 400 hot Iftar meals daily (6,000 USD), essential food parcels for 200 families (8,000 USD), 200 units of fresh white meat chicken (4,000 USD), 200 fresh vegetable and fruit baskets (7,000 USD), and traditional Ramadan dessert Qatayef (3,000 USD).
Our operational model focuses on direct procurement from Gaza’s local markets to stimulate the economy and ensure freshness, full transparency where every dollar is tracked and every distribution documented through photos and videos, and zero overhead costs, led by Mohammed Ayyad and local volunteers to ensure 100 percent of funds reach the plates of the hungry.

An idea my comrade Vic had is that several artists create one item each to contribute to a shop which will raise funds for Gaza Food Relief Project over a set period of time.
Each contributor will join by releasing (1) video, each mutually cohesive in style and delivery, to announce the project and their part in it. Each will be tasked with raising sales from as many supporters, friends and family as possible.
Some contributors will have more reach than others, but none of us will fail to raise some money. We will aim for 7-10 mutuals who will contribute, each capable of drawing in a unique base.
If there are any artists with an online presence and are willing and able to participate and contribute a digital product, an item of their choice, and their time and energy, please reach out to us.
